Iran Accountability Week – Letter to Parliamentarians

Dear Parliamentarian,

Thank you for your attention to and participation in the third annual Iran Accountability Week. Please note that the Global Iranian Political Prisoner Advocacy Project op-ed series in the National Post continues today with David Sweet’s profile of Pastor Saeed Abedini, who was arrested in September 2012 and sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment on trumped-up charges related to the peaceful practice of his religious beliefs (http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2014/05/14/david-sweet-imprisoned-for-his-faith). Op-eds by Paul Dewar and myself will follow in the coming days.

Please also note that Iran Accountability Week continues tomorrow, Thursday, May 15, with the following events:
